朝の幸せ♡炊き立てご飯の香りに包まれるキッチン

わが家は寝室とキッチンが隣同士。朝起きて寝室のドアを開けると炊き立てのご飯の香りに包まれます。

Our kitchen is just next to the bedroom. When I open the door at the bedroom in the morning, I am wrapped in the scent of freshly cooked rice.

 

独身時代ほとんど白米を食べることがなかった私。朝はトーストとサラダ、夜はお酒とおかず。炊飯器をもっておらず、お昼のお弁当用にお鍋で少し玄米を炊くぐらいでした。

During my bachelor days, I had rarely had white rice. I had toast and salad in the morning and snacks and liquor at night. I did not have a rice cooker and sometimes cook brown rice with a deep pot for my lunch.

 

結婚のお祝いにお米1俵と炊飯器をいただいたのを機に少しずつ食生活が変わってきました。そして何より大きな転機は「子供の離乳食」です。

My eating habits have gradually changed since I got a rice cooker and a 60kg rice bag as wedding gifts. In addition, when my daughter started eating baby foods, my diet has totally changed.

トロトロお粥に軟飯、そして一口サイズのおにぎりと、離乳食には白米がかかせません。なるべく炊き立てのご飯をと思い毎日お米を炊くようになりました。

Porridge, soft rice and one bite size of rice balls. White rice is necessary for baby foods in Japan. I want to give my daughter freshly cooked rice, so I come to cook rice every day.

 

1合炊いても赤ちゃんには多いし、少ない量で炊くとあんまり美味しく感じない…

It is too much for a baby to cook 1 cup of rice and it is not so tasty to cook with a small amount of rice…

 

最近はちょうどいい量を見つけて毎朝起きるときにご飯が炊きあがるようにしています。大人の朝食と子供の朝昼晩を合わせて2合。

I recently find just the right amount of rice which is 2 cups, for breakfast of all of us and lunch and dinner of my daughter. I set a timer of the rice cooker at 7:30 in the morning so that we can have freshly cooked rice for breakfast.

 

お米が炊ける香りは清々しくていい香り。ほかほかご飯のほのかな甘みと口にしたときの弾力が朝から幸せな気分にしてくれます。

I feel happy from the morning to have tasty rice with a savory smell, a hint of sweetness and chewy and firm texture.

 

いつもの幸せに心から感謝。ありがとう。
