ハンドメイド記録♡花柄生地で「セットアップ」を作りました
今日5月8日は母の日。母の日といえばカーネーションのイメージですよね。
The second Sunday of May is “Mother’s day”. Carnation is the symbol of the day in Japan.
手芸屋さんで何気なく手にした白地に花柄の布地。よくみると赤いお花はカーネーション。
I took a floral pattern fabric in my hand at the handcraft shop. Looking closer, the red flowers are carnations.
この時期にぴったりだと思い１歳の娘に「セットアップ服」を作ることにしました。
It is just right for this season. I had decided to make a "sleeveless blouse and culottes" for my 17 months daughter.
参考にしたのは型紙不要の「かわいい手作り子ども服」。初心者にもとてもわかりやすい１冊です。
I referred to the book called “cute handmade children’s clothing” which recommended for beginners.
まずは「キュロットスカート」。お腹ぽっこりの娘のためにゴムは少し緩めにしました。
I sewed "culottes" at first. Since my daughter has a cute pot belly, I made a few adjustments to the waist.
そして「ノースリーブブラウス」。首元だけでなく脇にもバイアステープを縫い付けてアレンジ。
Then, the "sleeveless blouse". I added a bias tape around the side line and made it into my own version.
上下一緒に着ても、他のお洋服と組み合わせてもOKなので、コーディネートを楽しめそうです。
It is good to wear the blouse and culottes together or separately. We can enjoy fashion.
夫と娘から母の日のお祝いをしてもらい幸せな気分。
I am happy that my daughter and husband celebrate Mother’s day, today.
いつもの幸せに心から感謝。ありがとう。
